Who do you work with?

I provide styling services for men and women of all nationalities, catering to a wide range of budgets - from high street to luxury. My clients are typically busy individuals in their late twenties and beyond who want to look their best but don’t have the time to manage all the details themselves. They’re often professionals, executives, business owners, or entrepreneurs.

I can never find anything to suit me. How do I know you can?

With years of experience as both a fashion designer and professional stylist, I approach clothing and style from a unique informed perspective compared to the average consumer. My expertise enables me to discern what will suit you best and how to locate those items , both in-person and online. Read more about my experience.

WHy do you ask for a shopping budget?

This allows me to plan your appointment effectively. Coupled with your styling preferences, it enables me to offer guidance on investment pieces and how to make the most of your budget.

Unless otherwise requested by the client, I will never suggest allocating your entire budget to a single item. In such instances, clients typically allocate an amount for clothing and shoes, then another separate budget for designer bags, watches, etc.

How much do I need to spend on a personal shopping trip?

My clients all have varying budgets. To make the experience worthwhile for in-person shopping, as a guideline I recommend a minimum of £1.5k for 3 hours.

Do you work on commission?

No, I don’t work on commission, all my advice is unbiased and independent.

Can you shop for any clothing size?

Yes, though many stores in London typically only cater for sizes 6-16/18 for women and XS - XXL for men. Rather than restricting you to a limited selection of stores to avoid potential disappointment, I may recommend online shopping. Where the range of options is significantly broader. While I understand this may not be ideal, my goal is to ensure each client enjoys the best shopping experience possible.

In cases where you've received a gift voucher for in-person shopping, but I believe online shopping would be more productive, I advise to change and credit you with x hours/outfit amount of styling if the service is cheaper.

Where Do you take Personal shopping clients?

All in-person shopping takes place in Central London or Westfield White City and where depends on your taste and budget. I don’t have a standard route/style, everything is based on the individual clients requirements. I cover both high street brands, designer and luxury labels.

Private styling rooms- where possible - can be booked in Selfridges, John Lewis Oxford Street, Harrods and Harvey Nichols.

Can I book a personal shopping evening appointment?

Depending on availability my last shopping appointment generally starts at either 2 or 3pm as outside of Harrods the vast majority of stores in London close around 7pm.

Can I bring a partner, relative, friend etc with me?

Yes, it is completely fine to bring a guest with you for a personal shopping appointment. I do ask that you limit it to just the one guest.

CAN I SHOP FOR BOTH SUMMER AND WINTER AT THE SAME TIME?

No. Stores/brands typically sell items corresponding to the current season. While some aspects of unseasonal shopping can be purchased through online styling, I advise shopping for items suitable for the current season. Contact me if you would like advice when to shop.

Is the personal shopping appointment to buy clothes, or for ideas?

You are under no obligation purchase items during the appointment.

However, if you've opted to invest in my personal styling services, I strongly recommend both purchasing items and gathering ideas. Drawing from my extensive experience in fashion design and styling, my recommendations are tailored to your budget, taste, and body type.

My goal isn't to maximize your spending, but rather to cultivate satisfied, stylish, confident clients. Happy clients contribute to the growth of my business and help maintain my professional reputable image.

Why don’t you take away unwanted clothes in the wardrobe edit?

I would never remove clients possessions from their home without first documenting and obtaining written permission to mitigate any potential ambiguity. Given that documenting would necessitate extra time for which I would need to charge, I feel my time is better spent imparting valuable style information.

Why don’t you show before and after photos?

Personal styling is exactly that - personal. It differs greatly from editorial work, where retouched and altered images are showcased openly. Many of my clients prioritise confidentiality and anonymity, expressing a desire to keep their photos private and not circulated.

Each individual is unique, and what suits one client may not necessarily suit another. I do however show client looks that I have styled.

I don’t live near London or in the UK, can you still help me?

Yes, I offer an online styling service that offers excellent results. All from the comfort of your own home, be that in the UK or overseas.

Do you travel abroad?

Yes, I can travel to you (includes additional fees), or we can work together remotely.
